Success Story

When I was given this opportunity to write a success story, I pondered over quite a few ideas.  It was hard to pin down one exact story because there are so many.  I work with so many interesting and intelligent professionals, coupled with aspiring and inspiring youth that the successes are plentiful.   I didn’t quite know where to start, so I decided to focus on how Our Piece of the Pie helped me through a major transition in my life.

Family Friendly

There are not many employees that can say that their jobs are willing to mold around their schedules.  Yet, the culture of OPP allows us to have a family and career while be truly fulfilled with both.  I became very appreciative of this when I became pregnant with my twins.  My bosses were very kind to me and granted me an extended maternity leave. After my children were born I was able to work a schedule that worked for me.  When I was ready and able to return to work, OPP welcomed me back by offering me a promotion, and benefits.  That to me speaks volumes of an employer, commitment to me and my family.

I am successful because OPP organization makes a first class effort to make sure that I am. My friends have to beg their employers for training and an opportunity for advancement.  At OPP, I have had the chance to do all sorts of training and career development. Success starts at the top. Organizations that creates wonderful environments, in turn receive high performance from their employees.
